Ahhh, I don’t even know how to start this. Sarah was one of the sweetest bride’s I’ve worked with and helping her bring to life the ideas she had, was one of the highlights of my summer.
Think classy/elegant meets Bohemian and you’ll see how it all come together for a perfect day. The Felt Mansion in Saugatuck was the most picturesque location for their wedding and even though the rain clouds loomed earlier in the day, they dissipated and let the sun shine down on them as they said Ido.
Sarah’s arm bouquet was as lush as they come with a wide array of foliages including eucalyptus, olive branches, nagi and ruscus. Added to the greenery were fragrant peonies, hydrangeas, roses, stock, lisianthus, green trick dianthus, and blue berries. The bridesmaids’ complemented her bouquet and the men wore stately olive branch boutonnieres with Lukan’s having some white lisianthus added.
The backdrop to their ceremony was the adorable white chapel on the grounds of the Felt Mansion and the garland we placed around the doorway, continued the natural feel of the day. Greenery around the lanterns and baby’s breath next to her wooden scripture verses lined the aisle way she walked with her dad.
At the reception, the tall all-foliage elevated bouquets in pilsner vases on half of the tables and then garlands of mixed greens on the rest, made a striking appearance against the white tent. It was amazing!! Italian ruscus encircled the layers to add a dramatic look on their sweet cake and loosely laid greenery decorated their tables inside, as well.
All of these images and emotions were captured by the amazing!!! Josh Rexford. http://www.joshrexford.com
