Stephanie and Drew’s August wedding was filled with so much love, you can just see it in all the pictures. Stephanie’s incredibly gorgeous dress, her exquisite tiara and earrings and the natural smile that truly radiated the joy she was experiencing was contagious. I delivered her personal flowers at the JW Marriott, where she and her bridesmaids got ready. We wanted a bouquet that would not overpower her beautiful dress and the combination of different shades of roses, wax flower, foliage and then a pop of deeper pink dahlias to match Drew’s bow tie was perfect.
Their ceremony took place at the Cook-DeWitt Center at Grand Valley State University. The stage there is a nice blank slate with a wonderful wood background and floor so we used white columns with tulle draped between the various heights to stand out against it. Boston ferns and cascading floral arrangements set onto of the columns to create a striking backdrop for their ceremony. White hydrangeas tied with a pretty pink bow lined the aisle way.
The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville was their choice for the reception. Cylinder vases with submerged flowers and some floating candles were on a portion of the tables and alternating ones held tall pilsner vases with floating crystals and cascading elevated arrangements.
