Autumn time in Michigan is one of my favorite seasons and Cindy and Ted’s wedding was a perfect day for an outdoor wedding. Nestled back off the beaten path is the Weaver House, near Grand Haven. The white arched arbor created an incredible backdrop for the ceremony. We added a garland of mixed greenery and a few fresh flowers across the top and along the sides of the center section and attached a garland of greens tied with gold satin ribbon to the railing.
Cindy’s bouquet featured a gorgeous combination of fall tones with the Juliet roses, golden Combo roses, peach and gold dahlias, Jana spray roses, blue privet berries and thistle along with an a fine eucalyptus foliage. We finished her and her maids handles with a soft gold satin ribbon.
The reception was held at Old Stonegate Farms in Nunica, Mi. and her choice of decor was perfect for the venue. Guests were greeted with large entry bouquets of blue hydrangeas, dahlias, tossed, blue privet berries, bittersweet and trailing gold eucalyptus.
Antique white lanterns held a pretty arrangement inside and we used vines to swirl up and out the top of them for a natural but elegant look for some of the guests tables. Other tables had a pretty gold compote container filled with all the gold and peach colors of autumn and still others had a ring of greenery around white lanterns. The garland from the arbor was brought to the barn and used in various places around the barn.
